Tips for Filing Solo 401(k) Form 5500-EZ

If you are self-employed at utilize the Solo 401(k) plan to save for retirement, your IRS reporting requirements are very minimal. However, if you have at least $250,000 in assets in the plan, as of December 31 of the previous year, you need to file IRS Form 5500-EZ.
